Laura Dean is an Assistant Professor of Political Science in the Department of Social Sciences at Clayton State University. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Kansas in 2014. She is working on a book manuscript entitled “Beyond the Natasha Effect: Determinants of Human Trafficking Policy Variation in the Post-Soviet Region.”
