Female Soldiers at the Front in Donbas et description
Tamara Martsenyuk considers the ways in which Euromaidan both reaffirmed and contested women’s traditional gender roles. Within the Maidan space, liberal feminist and radical feminist debates emerged about obtaining full citizenship rights and standing up to existing hierarchical and sexist norms. Martsenyuk also explores this redefinition of women's roles in Ukrainian society in the context of the Donbas war.
