DANYLIW RESEARCH SEMINAR ON CONTEMPORARY UKRAINE

Beyond children, a huge number of adult Ukrainians have forcibly been displaced to Russia They remain largely beyond the international protection regime and without support from Ukraine as diplomatic ties have been cut in February 2022. Based on open sources and testimonies of volunteers working in Russia, the paper documents how Russia planned, designed and implements policy towards the deported Ukrainians.
