Everyday Experiences under the Russian Occupation in Ukraine since 2022

This project is based on oral history interviews conducted primarily in Ukraine (online and in person) with people who lived under the occupation since 2022. The interviews were carried out primarily with people from liberated areas, including Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, and Kherson Oblasts as well as some from still under occupation in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia Oblasts. It contributes to understanding of terror of occupation through a personal experience.

Neringa Klumbyte is Professor of Anthropology and Russian and Post-Soviet Studies at the University of Miami (Ohio).
